INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTORS MICHAEL WENG
Dr. Weng has been a member of the Department
of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering Faculty at USF since 1995.
He
Dr. Weng’s primary areas of research and scholarly work are in the fields of production planning and scheduling, supply chain management, optimization, discrete event simulation, and statistical modeling. Professor Weng is a contributor for Handbook of Operations Research and Management Science, and has over 30 journal publications. |
received his BS degree in Engineering Science from the Shandong
University of Science and Technology (SUST), Shandong, China in 1982, MS
degree from Purdue SUST in 1984, and his Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State
University in 1994. Prior to joining the faculty in Industrial and
Management Systems Engineering at USF, he worked as a senior manufacturing
engineer at Ford Motor Company.
