KARIM NOHRA
Karim Nohra is
an instructor and the undergraduate advisor in the Department of Civil and
Environmental engineering at the University of
South
Florida (USF).
He received his
undergraduate degrees in mathematics and engineering from University of
South Florida, and his Masters degree in Engineering from the Georgia
Institute of Technology.
Karim’s
teaching interests are in the area of mechanics. He has taught statics,
dynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanics of materials. His interests are in
mechanics and vehicular dynamics. Karim has been active in the high school
outreach program. He was an instructor for USF Math and Engineering programs
for high school students for seven years.
Currently, he
teaches the Smart Start program for incoming USF engineering students. Also,
he is a mentor for students of the Mathematics and Life sciences.
